5. Documentation

A critical component to ensuring that each client gets the highest quality report is to gather the right documents and information to provide to the valuation firm with the information they need to complete the report. Our experience allows us to quickly assess exactly what each firm needs and we will work to make sure that the documentation portion of the process goes as quickly as possible. In many cases we will need to work with the accountant or bookkeeper of the client to ensure that we have the right information and all the key questions are answered so that the valuation report will be accurate and have the supporting documentation needed to answer all questions. Often times there will be a short interview process from the firm to gather additional competitive information and specifics about each business that will be used to generate the valuation report.
